Al D. supplied this shot of the current bridge at Conlin's Road along with the old abandoned bridge. We suspect the abandoned bridge is the one in the Bouckley picture after it was repaired from the extensive flood damage.

Colin's Bridge 1915 |
Notice how the direction of Conlin's Road has changed over the years.
Back in the late 19th century and early 20th century the pond and mill just north of Mill St. was a busy area. There is not much left to identify that the mill actually existed. However, just north of the current bridge there are large chunks of concrete along the banks and the bed of the creek appears to be large slabs of level concrete and close by are large slabs of slate that could be the remains of the dam or mill building.
